FST-7 Tip: Dumbbell Lat Pull Over


In this week’s FST-7 Tip, powered by Evogen Nutrition, Hany Rambod, coach with 22 Olympia wins, teaches 6X Ms. Figure Olympia champion Cydney Gillon variations of the dumbbell lat pullover movement.

There are a few different variations of this exercise, starting with the grip. You can go wider by holding the edges of the dumbbell, or if you use a heavier weight, you can place the dumbbell between both palms to move it vertically.

The second variation is your hip position. You can lower your hips or bring your hips perpendicular to the floor. You will get much more stretch and a greater range of motion with your hips down.

An advanced FST-7 variant is that your training partner can apply pressure on the dumbbell for extra resistance.
