FST7 Tip of the Week brought to you by Evogen Nutrition. This week, 22-time Olympia winner coach Hany Rambod answers the question of whether sleep affects your results.

The Pro Creator explains his answer for both a competitor and a non-competitor. Hany advises his athletes to get 7-8 hours of sleep every night. That is the ideal minimum. If you go below that, you'll find yourself snacking at night, which means you're taking in extra calories, which is counterproductive for your diet. So, not only will you add body fat, but a lack of sleep also affects your results.

The main reason you want to get good sleep is for recovery. If you don't get enough sleep, it will affect your recovery, which in turn can impact your results.

For competitors, if you don't sleep well, you won't look good the next day. If this builds up from weeks of poor sleep and you don't get leaner, then look at yourself.
